And I also ordered 8oz bottles, for the elderberry syrup I'm making, and salve jars for a few new salve recipes I'm trying!
I'm really excited to get the elderberry syrup and the salves going! I need to wait a bit before I have all the ingredients for the salves, but the syrup should be going soon! I can't wait to get in the kitchen and concoct some awesome remedies!

What are your syrups and salves used for??
The elderberry syrup is a great immune booster and antioxidant. It helps keep a virus from invading other cells (they've found this to be true with the Swine Flu virus too.) They sell it commercially, but its just as easy and much cheaper to make your own! It has other perks, like lowering cholesterol, but the immune boosting and effect on a virus is the main reason I'm making it.
The main salve I'm working on is an eczema salve for Lane. I would also like to make a drawing salve and then a general dry skin salve. I prefer salves or even oil blends, to lotions. I'll most likely have extra of both, if you're interested, let me know!
